GuildPixies
Welcome to our weekly WildStar Addon Spotlight! This week we've got the spotlight on GuildPixies, an addon created by Sinaloit that color codes the AMPs in your guild bank tabs so you know if it's for your class and if you can actually use it!
If there's one part of the WildStar UI that needs a drastic overhaul, it's those pesky amp icons and the fact that every single one of them looks exactly the same! That's where Sinaloit's awesome addon, GuildPixies, comes in handy! Never again will you have to scroll over an amp in your guild bank to see if it's your class, and if you can learn it.
And it's really as simple as that! GuildPixies doesn't take any configuration, just install it and your AMP icons in the guild bank will be nice and colorful like the picture above. It also ads a class icon to the upper left side of the icon and on the lower right side you'll see a little triangle tab, which if green means you can learn it and if it's red, well, you already know it.
Installation
- Install using the free Curse Client, which you can download here, or follow the manual instructions below:
- Download the Addon from here.
- Locate your Addons folder. (C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\NCSOFT\WildStar\Addons)
- Place the GuildPixies folder found in the .zip file into your Addons folder.
Final Words
Honestly, this needs to be in implemented into the game ASAP by Carbine. It's a simple little UI change that really makes it easier to comprehend AMPs in your guild bank. Unfortunately, if you aren't in a guild this addon isn't for you. It doesn't work in your personal bank or inventory, but maybe someday Sinaloit will update it to do that. Until then, if you are in a guild, this is a must have addon!
