News Roundup: Ops Week Now Over; WildStar Account Page Fixed; and more!

It's official, Ops Week is now over but we're less than 32 hours away from the headstart and less than 5 days until launch!

Carbine has also had a hard time keeping their account management page up and running the past couple days. Probably due to the fact that they added two-step verification support to secure your login even tighter. Once word spread that you get some perks for having two-step verification support enabled the mass of WildStar fans abruptly crashed the page. It's better now and you can read all about adding two-step verification here!

They also had trouble with their store and you couldn't pre-order WildStar for some-time yesterday. And on top of all that, many users reported the inability to post to the official forums and Carbine is still working to fix that.

Recently we had a lengthy NCSOFT Account system maintenance to get things ready for headstart, as a result of this there are some ongoing issues which are currently investigating. Below I've listed the issues we are aware of;

  • Some players cannot access the NCSOFT Account management system.
    • As a result of this, they are unable to add serial codes, payment method information or similar.

    • UPDATE: The following issue has now be resolved. The account management system is fully accessible from WildStar-Online.com. You cannot apply a code from NCSOFT.com's account page.
  • Some players cannot post to the forums. This affects both users who can and can not access their NCSOFT Account Management page.
    • UPDATE: This is affecting users who have entered a pre-order code but not a full retail/pre-purchase code. We are currently investigating this issue but do not have an ETA on the fix.

Several users are also seeing the "Code Unsuable" or "No Valid WildStar Account found on ______" error messages when trying to log into the game/apply a code. We recommend contacting our Support Team if you see these messages.

We are also aware that due to the above issues, some players are unable to setup Two-Step Verification. Once again, we are working to resolve these issues and will post more information as we get it.

We are investigating these issues and working to resolve them as quickly as possible. We will keep you updated with any new information as we receive it, any new information will be added to this forum post.
