Your addon is apparently conflicting with the new control settings for mouse control that Carbine added to Wildstar on the PTR, may wanna look in to it before it reaches live. The addon completely stops working altogether.

I figured out 3 and 4(right click it and the first thing would be 'Run Script'). 5 is done in game. 6 is still confounding me(a shortcut where? on the desktop?). And as you said, 7 is a note. But still, people put up youtube vids of other stuff way less informal and helpful, even including "Instruction Videos". So why not? Not really demanding, but could see the use.

While I would welcome a user-made installation guide, I am actually concerned at this point if I would be able to make it any clearer in a video than it already is. Please be sure that I am not insulting you, but at times a little more investment is required than clicking an "Install" button.

If the troubleshooting steps don't help you there's not much else I can suggest, they cover most of the bases.
If I get other reports of it not working, perhaps I can triangulate the issue, but I don't have wildstar installed or active to double check it myself.

Have you enabled out of date addons in the game's addon menu? It should still work fine.
Short of that you should reload the script if you hadn't.
Okay, I am very ignorant of how to use computers and downloads and all the wonderful stuff that makes things like this work. I do not understand your AHK explanation.
Install AutoHotKey (You do need the latest version!) - Just install it and then close it. You run the addon's script, not the program itself.
Run Addons\Lockdown\MouselockRebind.ahk(This has changed!)
Bind [-] and [=] in Wildstar's Keybinding UI
(Optional) Create a shortcut to Addons\Lockdown\MouselockRebind.ahk so you can start it again later more easily
(Note) Whenever you update Lockdown, either re-start the script, or double-click the tray icon
I have installed AHK but I do not understand step 2. Where do I do this? How do I do this? Was I suppose to download AHK into a specific folder?
You have to find the Lockdown folder. The curse client provides a option to open the folder if you right click Lockdown in your installed list:
Nothing either :( After another while playing this evening I realized that it stills triggering the Caps Lock Bind reloading the script or not reloading it. So what I've done is to change my bindings and forget the Caps Locks after years using it in MMO's But this addon + script worth it man so It's ok I guess xDD
I hope now that with the new bindings it won't trigger the skill by itself again or I'd think that I got a curse on me or something haha.
So in a few days I will reply again if everything is ok playing with the script and no Caps Lock bind to see what happen Thanks again!

I've tried those and it's not the same feeling. I mean, they are really good addons, but the camera freedom of Lockdown + Script for the modes is awesome. I've tried to play with layout english in windows and wildstar for a while but still happening. Anyway, looks that reloading the script after it happens looks that it fixed, so I got to reload every 10-30 minutes I guess xDD

Yes it does, everything looks normal in that script.
I forgot to tell you that I've changed the LMB and RMB binds in Lockdown options ingame, because the defaults are not in my Keyboard, so I had to change it to 9 and 0, otherwise I could not use LMB and RMB with the script, I hope that is ok. I'm telling you everything I've change or modified that maybe got something to do.

MouselockRebind uses other keys to indicate to lockdown when it thinks wildstar lost or gained focus though, and those are the only things I can think of that could be messing up. But since your caps lock shows up as caps lock with that script, I don't know what to tell you :\
You could try using KeybindFreedom with Lockdown instead of MouselockRebind, or just using one of the other combat mods. YACM was updated recently.
They won't be able to change modes during combat, but shouldn't bug out.
I tried that and nothing, the problem persists. Also tried to do a clean installation of Lockdown and Auto Hot Key but nothing either. It's curious because I noticed that this bug it's only happen like after a while. I can play normally for 10-20 minutes and then it gets crazy :/
Even sometimes autohotkey gets more crazy and it's disable my LMB and stuck my CapsLocks and I need to finish the process and restart everything because it doesn't ever works normally in Windows.
I was thinking that maybe has something to do that my Keyboard is UK layout but my Windows is Spanish Language. I don't even know what to think now, this is very very weird xD
I don't really know what to tell you, especially with the language things. It might have nothing to do with it, but I just don't understand how it's doing what it's doing to you.
Hello Xuerian, first thing I've to tell you is that Lockdown is the very best addon for Wildstar. I cannot play without it. So Thank You Very Much!!
My problem is that few days ago I tried the auto hot key script that you put in the Addon Folder is working wonderful but one thing. I Have bind Caps lock key in Wildstar, but the script sometimes just press the Caps Lock Key without any reason.
I mean this is very random, I close the Map with M for example, and the Script press by itself the Caps Lock and only that key, it just happens with Caps Lock and not any other key on the keyboard Or Sometimes I'm in the mount and the script press again the Caps Lock and It dismount me because of the bug. This only happens if I have the Script active, without the Script and only Lockdown this does not happen. So Maybe is a Script problem?

You could try changing the F1 and F2 in both the ahk and Lockdown.lua (In lockdown it will be 0xF1 and 0xF2) to something else, like F5 or the like. These aren't normal keys, so I figured I was safe using them, and seem to have been until your case.

It definitely doesn't work, and is at least mostly not needed now.
You can turn on the option to have action controls somewhere, not sure where it's at or how well it actually works, I'm not in yet.

The PTR seems unavailable to me.
I'll try fixing it once I have access again, but unlike WoW addons, less popular Wildstar ones don't even cover the sub fee.

Someone above you just had it work, so the script itself still works - you should follow the troubleshooting instructions on the addon page.

If not, what doesn't work?
