I tried it again through Curse, and it seems to be working now, just had to reload out-of-date addons. You, sir, are a gentleman and a scholar. Thank you for all your help! I can play the game again! If you ever find yourself in south Florida, I owe ya a beer.
Here's another attempt where I load up Wildstar to check the addons, to no avail. Let me know if you see anything new here. I check the file locations, too.
I really do appreciate you spending this time to help.
I think a video would be a great idea, if you ever had the time for it.
What you're saying about AHK makes a lot more sense, put that way.
I remember the GUI interface when I've used it in the past, and I know there is a menu to fiddle with the settings, but it doesn't seem to appear at all. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if memory serves when I used it in the past, it would show up on my addon list in-game, right? I can record again when I get home today, maybe try a system restore back a couple days (just to pursue every avenue and a clean slate), and show you what happens when I open the game if you think we might find something else.
I went a step further and made a vid of me going through each step of the process. I'm open to any suggestions. Covering all the bases, I've also tried the other install settings (i.e. 32bit) just in case, and nothing.
Yup. Tried everything on the add on page. Still running into the same problem. Just takes me straight to the AutoHotkey help page telling me it's not finding something. I've double checked everything in the troubleshooting and installation. Any suggestions? This awesome mod made wildstar worth playing for me on my older PC and it feels like something is missing without
I can't get this to work at all. I've gotten to work on my past two computers, but on this new one I can't get it going. I have tried both installing on Curse and manually, and I've installed the most recent version of AutoHotkey. Any time I try to use it, it just opens up the help page telling me something is wrong. I have been working on this for over an hour and I'm about to smash my computer to a thousand pieces in frustration. Do you by any chance know how to fix this?
