    Yep, because I'm not using actual keybindings to detect key presses, because that's a pain in the butt.

    Also, Ctrl, Shift, and Alt are modifiers, trigger no event, and are even more annoying to bind, so none of those will be available.

They have reversed the left/right buttons on their mouse in the Operating System, and that works fine in Wildstar until they run the Mouselock AHK script.

    The AHK script seems to override the OS settings, is there any way to get the AHK script to honour the OS settings for primary and secondary mouse button?

    Try having them swap these around:

    Send, {blind}{RButton

    with 

    Send, {blind}{LButton

     

    (There will be Down} and Up} after each, but just swapping the RButton and LButton there is the idea. Not anywhere else)

    Honestly I had no idea how windows handled that, so, if that works I'll make a setting.

    Lockdown does not change keybinds. MouselockRebind, the included AutoHotKey script, watches your mouse lock status (Independently of the addon) and changes your input to be what you want, eg, 1 instead of left click. To me, this is a better solution, because Wildstar wasn't made with this kind of control in mind, and while KeybindFreedom does mostly work, it messes with other things too. 

    This is intentional, and if you really want to use KeybindFreedom instead of MouselockRebind, then just don't run the ahk script, but otherwise as the instructions say:

    2. Disable or uninstall DeadlockExSteerActionControls, YACM, and any other mouselock control mod. (And KeybindFreedom if using the script)

    Does the target area actually change when you change the reticule?  It appears from what I see it doesn't.  I can raise the aiming box anywhere I want but that doesn't seem to change where the actually targeting is.  Do I need to tweak something?

    It changes where Lockdown looks for targets, so yes, but it doesn't (Because it can't) move the mouseover position.

    Had an issue (same?) from the 9/12 patch (- and = were not functioning at all).  Fixed it with these 2 steps (not sure if both were necessary):

    Reinstalled autohotkey (there was a newer version available, updated to 1.1.16.03)

    Right-clicked on the mouselockrebing script and ran it as admin.

    Likely only the admin change was necessary, but glad to know you managed to fix it.

    I can assure you I can see the posts, but it's a little hard for me to work on it without a sub.

    Can you elaborate on what is happening? What does Q have to do with any of your binds? The only thing that changes when Lockdown is the autohotkey script intercepts LMB and RMB and instead sends your chosen keys to Wildstar.

    Also I'd appreciate it if you edited your wildstar forums post and reminded people I said to come here, because I get emails about posts here and definitely do reply. I've supported my other addons for years after I stopped playing.

    No, Lockdown is made to be locked all the time during normal gameplay, and is built around that. There are other options that do that, however.

    If I bind the LMB & RMB to let's say Skill 1 or 2, is there a way to bind the original camera key (originally LMB) to some other button? I want to be able to turn my character and see their gear/costume from the front side. Right now, I can only see their behind whenever I steer the camera.

    You can just hold alt (Or your free key of choice) and then drag your camera just fine, an additional keybind is not necessary.

    Wanted to say thanks for the addon, has helped a bunch playing this game.

    I have an issue where my sticky targeting is not working, right now I work around it by having a hotkey for /focus command to keep important bosses/monsters UI frames up for casts and such. I'd like to ask you if this is the game's fault or a result of using your addon together with RMB+LMB rebindings? Why does the target get switched all the time?

    Sorry if this has already been answered, these forums are a bit confusing.

    This is how the game works, unfortunately. You can prevent this behavior by also using the AHK script.

    Not without using the autohotkey script, no. Even if you rebind LMB/RMB, Wildstar still interprets the click as whatever it wants.

    With the AHK, it literally intercepts the clicks.

    No ideas. I don't have a active subscription so I can't really tell what's going on. Theoretically they shouldn't have done anything that changes it though. Key rebinding is done outside the game. Re-install the addon/script and make sure that's going well and I can try to help you fix it.

    Also, please make a post on the forums linking to this thread (Just the thread, not this post) mentioning that I can't post on the forums any more and that users should post here for support.

    Yeah, that's because Curseforge is about to launch a new project updating system and we were trying to get it to work last night.

    There's no new version available yet, but once it's working I'll probably push an alpha with some new stuff.

    Yes, if you can get Carbine to add a "GameLib.SetMouseLockPosition(x,y)" method I can change it. I used to be able to use how mouselocking was broken to do the same thing, but then they "fixed" it.

    "GameLib.SetCameraOffset(x,y)" would also be helpful.

    Short of that, there's a branch on github that re-does targeting completely, but it's unfinished.
