Amazing addon! With the addition of the Middle Mouse Button binding, im having a hell of a time editing the script/lockdown settings to keep MButton as AutoRun. It seems to work fine when Lockdown isnt toggled, but when it is, its very gimmicky and unreliable. Is there anyway around this? Even when I remove *Mbutton:: (insert script here) return" its still giving me trouble.THANKS! And thanks again for your work with this amazing addon!
Edit>> Also, good call with the forum as comment section. :) Might cut down on the repeated questions, and easy for people to find some answers!
Don't edit the script any more, there's no need to. MMB is always buggy as a autorun bind in mouselock, Lockdown or not. Bind MMB to another key inside Lockdown, and use that for autorun.
@Xuerian first of all your addon is great. When I started using it, game felt so much better. However I'm a stalker and and one of my skills Tether Mine is a ground target ability with the nature of LockDown it's a bit difficult to use, Especially if the mouse was left in a strange position before LockDown was enabled. Is there anyway for you to pause lockdown whenever a ground targeted ability is cast, like how it is whenever you open any interface such as bags and vendors? Unfortunately I had to stop using it as tether is way to important in PvP to let go. Thanks :)

1. MouselockRebind will center your mouse
2. If you press the cast button again instead of clicking to cast the mine, it will cast where the AoE shows up
3. There's no way to detect a AoE ability being cast as far as I know, this is one of the top complaints but it is possible to play with it how it is once you get used to it. I did the same thing in GuildWars2 with a staff necro which is almost all AoE.
Oh.. that's quite unfortunate. MouselockRebind is indeed useful but it will be difficult for example when your are running forward and you need to cast a ground target skill behind you, you would need to turn to be able to cast it behind you and end up backpedaling, I think i'll just try and master it by first pressing alt then followed by the skill. but thank you anyway :)

Yeah, there's just some things that are beyond me until Carbine adds more support for mouselock mods. I think I can solve most other problems, but the best I may be able to do with AoEs is just a hard "On 4 pressed, unlock. On pressed again, re-lock." Which is prone to a lot of problems, but maybe better than nothing.

Yeah it seems that solution is a bit to general and I could only imagine what problems it would cause. If there is enough demand for it perhaps you could try it and make the setting optional. If you do decide to try this one out on a beta version let me know :) I'll test the shit out of it haha

Sure. I just don't know how to approach it. I probably won't release any versions that don't at least work, but it will probably be something you have to turn on to start with.
Right now I'm working on advanced targeting though (Targeting on repositioned reticle, with bonuses), so after that I'll look into it.
I have another question, How do you guys use abilities like Reap or Nullifier? Ones that usually require you to actually place where the AoE will go with a mouse cursor. I've been trying to find a technique but it still feels clunky. You guys have any tips?
Is there any reason why mounting in to objects, like the mechs for quests, seem to just not work with lockdown? Doesn't matter how many times I click the buttons to use the abilities, they just don't cast... As soon as I stop using lockdown, works perfectly fine.

I have no idea what quest you are talking about (I've only gotten to 25), so I can only answer like this: There should be no difference at all between lockdown being inactive (toggled off) and lockdown being disabled, and it shouldn't do anything to anything but mouselock (And targeting) while on.

Press the key, aim the field (Holding Alt to move the cursor if I have to, but most of the time I can aim it just with the crosshairs), press the key (NOT CLICK!) again to cast at that location.
It's not perfect and I'll probably try another approach later, but I haven't found the necessary API calls to do it well or make it seamless.
I guess the problem I notice with aiming with the crosshair is targeting field doesn't match up with my new crosshair placement.
I noticed that problem too. In fact, so many people noticed it that I may have possibly put it up on the curse page. I may have also put it on the curse page in giant, red, flashing text.
Sarcasm from exasperation aside, I'm actually working (literally right now) on a new targeting system that will move with the crosshairs. Hopefully it won't take too long.
Edit: Unfortunately, that targeting system will not change where AoEs are aimed. I can't do that, because that's where WildStar says the mouse is and there's no GameLib.SetMouseLockPosition(x, y) for me to use to move that around.
If there was, I would have already included it. That said, I may still have some other improvements to help that, but they won't be optimal without that kind of API being provided by Carbine.
Is there any way to turn off the auto targeting. I know you can caps lock to lock on target but I don't want that neither I just want to be regular targetting

So you posted on both forums but didn't look at the "Reticle targeting" checkbox in the options? :|

Hmmm....after the 6/28 Update, I'm noticing Reap now aims where my crosshair position is. Aparently that was one of their "Back end fixes"?

Can I get some clarification on this? I would also like to adjust the default cursor height but I can't seem to find this line in the *.lua.
Um. Are you talking about the Reticle? You can move it X/Y in the Addon options. I'm not sure why you feel like you need to mess with the .lua?

Where exactly does one get the MouselockRebind_Options.ini because it did not generate with the latest version of the addon & script.
It doesn't generate any more, read the description on Curse.
Wow my mistake...for some reason I didn't realize there was a separate tab for for reticule options ;D
