Please work with KeybindFreedom so both can work in symbiosis. Currently both addons conflict when attempting to change keybindings.

Lockdown does not change keybinds. MouselockRebind, the included AutoHotKey script, watches your mouse lock status (Independently of the addon) and changes your input to be what you want, eg, 1 instead of left click. To me, this is a better solution, because Wildstar wasn't made with this kind of control in mind, and while KeybindFreedom does mostly work, it messes with other things too.
This is intentional, and if you really want to use KeybindFreedom instead of MouselockRebind, then just don't run the ahk script, but otherwise as the instructions say:
2. Disable or uninstall DeadlockEx, Steer, ActionControls, YACM, and any other mouselock control mod. (And KeybindFreedom if using the script)

Well, that's good news. Glad it's working out. It should work fine until I make any more changes at least, which isn't likely to be until I'm playing again, at which point I'll try to make it an option. Enjoy =)
Every time I mount I get self-targeted until pressing ESC. Does not happen with addon disabled or when mouse lock is off, but as soon as you toggle lock your character gets targeted again.
Try this: Toggle lockdown off, mount up, toggle lockdown on.

I've had a major problem trying to avoid this one for some no-good reason. Wildstar does mounts really weird, technically they're a separate unit (I guess so they can have health/soak abilities), but it causes a lot of annoyance when messing with targeting.
I can't seem to get the reticle targeting to work? I have the reticle targeting option checked and only hostile selected. But, when I place the reticle over an enemy, it does not target them. I have been using Lockdown for months and I swear it used to have this functionality.

You were right, it does. For some reason slim unit frame no longer works properly with this. When using the default unit frames, the target's unit frame shows up when I place the reticle on them. Thanks!

I don't know how that can happen, to be honest. They shouldn't interact. But I haven't looked at Slim, so.. it could be doing anything.

I tried this with Slim Unit Frames, PotatoUI, and the default Carbine unit frames. Lockdown will target with the reticle correctly, until you zone or die. Then it will still show the red or yellow "aura" around the enemy the reticle is on, but the unit frame of the target will not be displayed. Reloadui fixes the problem temporarily.

The red and yellow "aura" is from Wildstar's mouseover with the real mouse cursor, which would be nice to use, but I can't since carbine doesn't let us move where it locks at.
The reticle is actually an entirely separate system based off the radius and position of reticle you've picked.
Pretty much the only way for me to fix this at this point is if you can 100% repeat getting Lockdown to stop targeting things, and tell me the minimum amount to do it.
Also try things like toggling lockdown on and off via key and see if that effects it.
Once you narrow down the reproduction, I can either fix it or provide you with a debug build to gather more information.
I am very busy right now due to Thanksgiving, but on Friday I should have some time to isolate the problem. Thank you for working with me to keep this addon up to date even after you stopped playing!
The easiest way I could reproduce the problem 100% of the time:
1. Load the game
2. Take a ship to any zone(Crimson, Northern, Malgrave, etc)
I tried toggling lockdown on/off via key after it stops targeting but it had no effect.
If you enter combat with the target, the enemy's unit frame will be displayed.
/reloadui will fix the problem after taking a ship. Each time you take a ship a /reloadui is necessary, again.
Using a recall does not cause the bug.
I will test this on Tuesday night, but I am 99% sure that taking any teleporter inside GA caused the bug.
This also may be of some help. I have lockdown set to target only hostiles, but it targets certain "control pads" that you interact with to take the ships, specifically the Malgrave and Wilderrun ones, but not the 3 new ones from Drop 3 for Crimson, Northen, or Grimvault. It also targets settler campfires.
Hey Xuerian :) great addon, just wanted to give you a heads up, as of the "biweekly patch" (December 16th) the addon doesn't seem to be working, not sure why? anyone else having this problem? It IS still working in that I am moving the camera without holding down RMB, but I can't use either of my attacks (e.g I set my LAS1 and LAS2 as "-" and "=" and set "-" and "=" as LMB and RMB respectively. I can get the skills to activate if I press "=" but not if I press the mouse button it is meant to change to.
I am unbelievably dumb, I just needed to manually reload the script and reload ui and all was well... keep up the great work! xD <3

"Toggle mouse control" cannot be bound to [Middle Mouse Button], [MB4], [MB5] or [ALT]
Yep, because I'm not using actual keybindings to detect key presses, because that's a pain in the butt.
Also, Ctrl, Shift, and Alt are modifiers, trigger no event, and are even more annoying to bind, so none of those will be available.
